1939
Airport Equipment Limited, the forerunner of Airpel, are founded as World War II begins.
The company is located in southern England.
1987
EIS purchases Airpel Filtration
1998
Airpel Filtration relocate to Newbury, the factory they still occupy today. T.I. Group acquires parent company EIS in the same year. This was the the start of the now widely known filter group (FaST – Filtration and separation Technology)
2001
T.I. Group and Smiths Industries merge: leading to the purchase of Airpel by SPX Corporation.
2015
SPX Corporation spins off its fluid and filtration system product lines – of which Airpel forms a part – into a new company named SPX FLOW.
2020
Celeros Flow Technology
Airpel are one of eight brands from the SPX FLOW Power & Energy Division to become Celeros Flow Technology.
